On May 29, 1940 the Austrian Arthur Seyss-Inquart was installed in the "Ridderzaal" as Reich commissioner, the chief executive of our country. In his speech he said he wanted to work with the Dutch. Actually, he had been commissioned to win the Dutch for the German cause. They prefer The Dutch all to be National Socialists.
