19sept. Two jeeps of the 2nd platoon 250th Light Composite Company RASC. under command of Captain DT Kavanagh (killed) tried to get to a supply dropping point north of Oosterbeek to collect supplies. The 20 men got into a German ambush. The supply dropping point being effectifly behind the German lines in that point of time.
